Photos in a Day
Since its release, iPhoto has been the photo management program of choice on Macs and its design has been copied by other programs, e.g. Google’s Picasa.
iPads and iPhones have used Photos since 2014 and it was released for Mac in April 2015. As expected, Photos has considerable similarities with iPhoto.
We’ll cover:
- importing photos
- organising and managing your photo collection
- editing photos – from basic repairs to adjusting for impact
- various ways of sharing your photos, e.g. photo books, slide shows, Facebook, email, Photo Stream
- backing up your photo collection
Presenter: Kevin Blazé
Target audience
Photos runs on iPad, iPhone and Macintosh computers so this course is especially aimed at those devices. The similarities between the various photo editing and management programs are such that knowledge gained in this course will be transferable to Windows and Android programs. No prior knowledge or experience of the photo programs is necessary. However, participants must be able to drive their devices, i.e. to open applications, save files, &c.
Bring your own device, please! (One or two Macs might be available – please enquire.)
